Carry Your Kit is a sustainable, recycled plastic shoe bag business founded by Jo, Physiotherapist, runner, mum of two, with the purpose of providing you and your family with funky, eco-friendly bags to carry your runners, soccer/footy boots, golf shoes, tennis shoes, dancing shoes or any other shoe for that matter, in style and with the knowledge that you are not only helping the environment, but also making a valuable contribution to society. Keeping your shoes away from your clothes is a bonus!

With a passion for high quality materials, exceptional manufacturing, sustainable practices and function combined with fun, we offer bags that are simple, practical and stylish. 

Running has brought me so much happiness over the years. The friendships, the places I has experienced because of running and the principles of running that have helped me to be disciplined through my life have culminated in me wanting to start this journey. 

The pillars of this business are 1. Building an authentic, eco-friendly product incorporating sustainable practices 2. Promoting a healthy lifestyle 3. Service to others.

Over the last few years, I was questioning my path, and knew that I wanted more. I needed a challenge. I always had ideas but didn’t back myself and as a mother, knew that for myself, and my kids, I had to follow this dream and prove to myself that I was capable, and teach my kids that sometimes, you have to take risks. I listened to one podcast that literally changed my life. I started talking to people in my life who had always been there, who helped me without question and I cannot express my gratitude enough for their support and encouragement. 

So, these are not just shoe bags to me. They are a reflection of my life. They are a reflection of all the questioning, the self doubt we all feel and an expression of gratitude to those around me who have helped me throughout this journey and my life.

It really is true that everything happens for a reason and that we just have to look around to see that everyone is fighting their own battle. Be kind - it is my motto in life.
